Tethered hot air balloon rides are a fun and unique experience for guests, and are a breathtakingly beautiful backdrop to events. These gentle giants stand as high as a 10 story building, and can be seen for miles. When up, guests get a taste of the ballooning experience with a 5 minute flight, and soar up to 50 feet in the air, taking in the event and surrounding landscape from up above. Our baskets can hold as little as two passengers, all the way up to 12 guests at a time, based on your needs.

• Availability: Tethered hot air balloon rides are available seasonally in Phoenix + Tucson, AZ from October 15 – May 15, when the weather is cool, and conditions are calm.
• Spacing: Though they look small up in the air, hot air balloons are quite large up close!  Our minimum spacing requirements for tethered hot air balloon rides are 250 ft x 250 ft square clear of all obstructions (trees, light poles, cacti, etc.).
• Weather: Tethered hot air balloon rides are weather dependent and require calm, stable weather conditions.  In order to facilitate tethered hot air balloon rides, we need wind conditions under 8mph, temperatures under 85 degrees, and the absence of any storm or unstable conditions (high winds, rain, thunder, lightening, etc.).  The time of day with the most ideal conditions is typically in the early morning hours, or late afternoon/evening hours in Fall/Winter/Spring.
• Pricing: Tethered hot air balloon rides in Phoenix start at $995.00 per hour, with a two hour minimum.  Tethered hot air balloon rides in Tucson start at $1,295.00 per hour, with a two hour minimum.
